The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after a body was found near an Orange funeral home Tuesday.

The body was discovered near a building owned by the Cotton Funeral Service on Main Street, WABC reported. 

The prosecutor's office did not immediately have additional information, including a cause of death or the identity of the woman.
